Because of the bad weather, the schedule of trainings and races had to be constantly changed. The race was shortened to four laps so that all races can be held in the tight time left.

In the opening round, Harrison led Glen Helen 1.1 seconds ahead of Hickman and James Hillier was third. Only a tenth of a second on the virtual timeline behind it went Cummins. The top 6 were completed by Michael Dunlop and Michael Rutter.

Things were not going well for John McGuinnes, Lee Johnston and Ian Hutchinson. They are ranked 14th, 15th and 16th.

In the first lap, Harrison drove a lap of 132.48 mph, only a second ahead of Hickman. Cummins was still in third place with 4.8 seconds distance. Only these three drove a lap average of at least 130 mph.

McGuinness had problems with the oil pressure and had to go into the pit.

By the end of the second round Cummins was able to work ahead and eventually led the virtual ranking.

Info: The virtual ranking is only influenced by the time driven and determines the race result. Since the individual drivers are left with a 10-second gap on the line, the order on the track is not necessarily the race result, as a driver would have to catch up 10 seconds to catch up with the driver started in front of him …

In the third round, however, the race had to be stopped because of an incident in Snugborough with a red flag. Thus, the result at the end of the second round of the race result.
