Harley-Davidson announces plans to cut 700 jobs worldwide. As a result, 500 workers will be made redundant by the end of the year.
As a result of this news, current CFO (Chief Financial Officer) John Olin is stepping down from his post and ending his 17-year tenure. The post is to be temporarily taken over by Darrell Thomas until a permanent replacement has been found.
“Significant changes are necessary, and we must move in new directions. I thank John for his commitment during his 17 years with the company and for his leadership during this critical phase of The Rewire” said CEO Jochen Zeitz.
