MotoGP – Jerez – Spanien Grand Prix
29. April 2022 - 1. May 2022
The Jerez circuit was completed in 1986 and hosted its first Grand Prix just one year later. Today, the track is one of the most popular MotoGP venues and a center of attraction for the sports-fanatic city. Located in a small depression in southern Spain, Jerez is blessed with consistently good weather and beautiful scenery. The numerous main grandstands offer good viewing conditions for up to 250,000 spectators.
The race track, with two alternative layouts of different lengths (4,423 and 4,428 meters), was renovated during the racing break. Jerez is popular with racing teams, who carry out their testing there throughout the year. The recently renewed corporate and press facilities are a popular addition to the circuit. Other facilities, such as the control tower as well as the pit pits, have also been significantly improved.
