MotoGP – Aragón Spain
10. September 2021 - 12. September 2021
An ultra-modern facility, MotorLand Aragón has its roots in the Alcañiz road race, where events were held from 1963 to 2003. Safety warnings against the continuations of these races led to the proposal and construction of a sports complex dedicated to motorsports.
With the support of local institutions, the renowned German architect Hermann Tilke was commissioned to create the facility. The track, which is 5.077 kilometers long and has 17 turns, was thoroughly praised by the riders after the first Grand Prix in 2010. It was also awarded the ‘Best Grand Prix’ trophy by IRTA. This was the first time that a track received this award in its debut year.
