The customizers of the Philippine company Iron Macchina have rebuilt a Trident 660 and equipped it with many one-offs. This is a collaboration with Triumph Motorcycles Philippines under the motto “futuristic cafe racer”.
Special seat construction
The rider sits on a seat mounted on a movable tubular frame. Underneath is the tank, so that the complete frame including seat must be folded upwards by a telescope damper in order to refuel. In doing so, it seems as if the rear end separates from the seat, as it does not move with it. Even though the seat/rear combination appears to be one piece at first glance, the rear is attached to the main frame via two outriggers and thus does not fold upward with it when refueling.
Clear edge handcrafted
The few fairing parts were designed relatively simply and with clear edges. Handlebar stubs, exhaust, mirrors and turn signals come from the accessories shelf, otherwise almost everything was handmade by Iron Macchina Customs itself. The tank is the most complex part.
