Yamaha is recalling the YZF R1 of the 2020 model year to the workshops. It would be possible that a fault in the atmospheric pressure sensor is not detected by the diagnostic system.

Yamaha is recalling the YZF R1 of the 2020 model year to the workshops. It would be possible that a fault in the atmospheric pressure sensor is not detected by the diagnostic system.
This may not comply with the legal requirement of on-board diagnostics (OBD). The problem is due to a program error in the engine control unit, which can be corrected by an update.
The workshop visit takes about half an hour.
