The 16th race of the 2025 MotoGP season at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli was an intense race with a clear duel at the top: Marc Marquez (Ducati) narrowly beat Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) and thus celebrated revenge for his sprint crash the day before. Bezzecchi, who had performed strongly throughout the weekend, was able to withstand the pressure from the multiple world champion for a long time, but made a small mistake that gave Marquez the decisive advantage.

After more than two decades, the long-established manufacturer from Iwata is abandoning its familiar inline four-cylinder design and following the example of its main competitors, who have been using V4 engines for some time now.
Triumph is continuing to expand its roadster range and is currently testing a new model variant that is set to be launched under the name Trident 800. Initial photos of a prototype spotted during test drives in Spain suggest that the motorcycle is almost ready for series production. The Trident 800 is positioned between the already established Trident 660 and the more powerful Street Triple 765.
