The collaboration between the two companies is intended to take them to the next level in the fields of motorcycles and electromobility.
The strengthening of the strategic partnership is based on the joint intention that Fantic Motor will acquire 100% of the shares of Motori Minarelli by the end of 2020. This will also allow Motori Minarelli to expand its know-how in the engine & electric powertrain as well as its production range to enter the e-mobility segment.
Fantic will also modernize Motori Minarelli’s industrial facilities, giving them access to selected Yamaha engines and other components.
The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
