As part of the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on Lake Como, BMW Motorrad presented a visionary concept that offers a concrete preview of the next generation of its own RR superbikes: the BMW Motorrad Concept RR. The show bike combines the latest racing technology with futuristic design and illustrates BMW's ambition to remain at the top of the superbike segment in the future.
BMW is preparing for the next technological leap in the superbike segment. On Friday, May 23, 2025 at 7 p.m., BMW Motorrad will unveil a new concept bike at the traditional Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on Lake Como. The first teaser images already suggest a new generation of the BMW S 1000 RR or M 1000 RR - with a clear focus on uncompromising performance and state-of-the-art technology.
With the R 1300 RS, BMW Motorrad is presenting a completely revised model within the sports tourer series. The new generation is characterized by a modified chassis, a revised boxer engine and an extended range of optional equipment. The aim was to achieve a sportier design without sacrificing the well-known touring characteristics of the series.
The Indian motorcycle manufacturer TVS Motor Company is apparently working on a new electric motorcycle. A recently published patent points to a completely new vehicle concept that could expand the company's existing electric fleet. TVS currently offers two electrically powered scooters, the iQube and the TVS X. The model that has now been patented would be the company's first fully electric motorcycle.
