On the first lap, Hickman led Glen Helen 1.68 seconds ahead of Harrison and James Hillier. This was followed by Dunlop, Rutter and Davey Todd. Until Ballaugh Hickman was able to extend his lead. Dunlop took third place ahead of Hillier.
TT – Second victory in one day for Peter Hickman
In the first lap, Hickman drove 132.03 mph lap speed, giving him a 9.026-second advantage over Harrison.
With Glen Helen, Hickman’s advantage had fallen to 5.8 seconds, Dunlop followed with 11 seconds behind in third place. Thanks to a very good pit stop, Johnson advanced to fourth, ahead of Cummins and Rutter. Hillier received a 30 second penalty for riding too fast in the pit lane. As a result, he was only in ninth place with Glen Helen.
On the second lap, Hickman drove a lap of 128.13 mph, 16.576 seconds ahead of Harrison. On three was Dunlop, who was only 3.2 seconds ahead of Johnson.
In the third round, Johnson was able to pass Dunlop (virtual). At Glen Helen the gap was only 0.784 seconds. Cummins was five, Rutter six.
With a lap of 131.38 mph and a lead of 26.045 seconds over Harrison, Hickman scored his second win of the day, the third victory this week and his fifth overall TT victory. In third place, Johnson made it.
