In 2023, Triumph would like to launch two special Aragon editions in memory of Ivan Cervantes and his victory in the Baja Espania Aragon.
The 38th Baja Espana Aragon took place from July 22-24, 2022, and Ivan Cervantes was able to dominate the rally with the Tiger 900 Rally Pro in the Trail class. In the overall standings, he took 11th place out of 75 participants and crossed the finish line just 33 minutes behind the Enduro winner.
Documents regarding registration for the special model have surfaced in Australia and are said to have been submitted by Triumph as early as December 2022. However, the special model is not expected to be limited to Australia, but will also be released in other markets.
Special edition for Tiger 900 Rally Pro and Tiger 900 GT
Both of the Tiger 900 Rally Pro, as well as the Tiger 900 GT, is to come a corresponding Aragon Edition. With the color design one orients oneself naturally at the winner motorcycle of Cervantes. What, or whether anything else has been changed, is currently still unclear. Changes to the 888cc three-cylinder engine can not be expected, here it remains at 95 PS (94 hp / 70 kW) at 8,750 rpm. There will probably be no changes to the tire dimensions either, so the Rally Pro will continue to come with 21-inch wire-spoke front wheel and the GT with 19 & 17-inch cast wheels.
An official announcement from Triumph is currently still pending, so it is not yet clear when exactly the models will be released and when they will come onto the market at what price.
