Torrot cooperates again with the FIM E-Xplorer Championship

The electric motorcycle brand Torrot is continuing its partnership with the FIM E-Xplorer Championship in the 2024 season.  For the second time, Torrot is bringing its entire model range to the “Fan Village” of the paddock.

Test rides for the next generation

Torrot’s wide range of models, suitable for drivers aged three to 14, will be on display and available to test at all five E-Xplorer events.  Visitors will be able to test the bikes extensively in a special area.

Joint commitment to sustainability

Both Torrot and the FIM E-Xplorer Championship are committed to sustainability and innovation.  Torrot’s involvement offers the next generation of riders – and potentially racers – an entry into the world of sustainably powered two-wheelers.

Start of the season in Osaka

Following the success of the first season of the all-electric and off-road FIM World Cup, the 2024 season kicked off in style in Osaka, Japan in February.  Oslo, Norway, hosted the second race, and the third round will take place as a double-header from June 20-22, 2024 in Vollore-Montagne, Auvergne, central France.

Quote from John Dixon, CEO of Torrot

John Dixon, CEO of Torrot, commented: “The ethos of the E-Xplorer Championship correlates exactly with what we believe in at Torrot – having fun in a sustainable way.  We also place great importance on promoting gender equality, particularly in motorsport, so there was no question for us to extend our partnership.”

About Torrot

Torrot was revitalized in 2011 and since then has pursued the goal of developing innovative electric vehicles with a strong ecological focus and reviving a brand that enjoyed great popularity in the past.  Torrot’s philosophy at the time is still reflected today: to produce practical, comfortable and robust vehicles that improve mobility and make daily life more pleasant and convenient.  Torrot remains true to these principles, focusing on sleek design, cutting-edge technology and sustainable production to protect the world we live in.

About the E-Xplorer Championship

The E-Xplorer FIM World Cup is a pioneering international racing series for electric off-road motorcycles, created by Valentin Guyonnet, Carina Munte, Alejandro Agag and Eric Peronnard.  This event stands for excitement, technological progress, environmental sustainability and adventure and appeals to a wide audience.  The competition is made up of private and works teams, with each team consisting of two drivers of both sexes.  The races take place in various locations, including city streets and natural terrain.  The E-Xplorer FIM World Cup promises top-class racing.
