With a daring stunt, German freestyle motocross rider Luc Ackermann has opened a new chapter in the history of extreme sports. On a highway in North Rhine-Westphalia, the 27-year-old performed a tsunami backflip over a nine-meter-high height control barrier – from one moving truck to another. He covered a distance of 40 meters and had barely more than half a second to complete the jump.

Last weekend, Berlin hosted the NIGHT of the JUMPs, the biggest motorsport event in the city for years.  After Team Czech Republic surprisingly took the victory on Friday, the favorites from Germany and Spain wanted to strike back on Saturday.  Over 10,000 enthusiastic fans flocked to the Mercedes-Benz Arena to celebrate the world's best freestyle motocross riders.

After a break of three years, a NIGHT of the JUMPs took place again in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin.  The fans were thrilled and experienced an exciting evening at the Freestyle of Nations Contest.
