Actually, Suzuki wanted to present the new Hayabusa only on Friday at their motorcycle salon. In the meantime, however, a trailer has surfaced on the Internet in which the upcoming Hayabusa can be seen in all its glory.
Data is not yet revealed in the trailer, it only talks about ” A new legend unvailed”, ” Presence born of the heritage”, “cuts through the air”, “advanced technologies” and so on.
The new Hayabusa will be equipped with Suzuki SDMS-a, that is, the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector with which you can choose between the different driving modes. In the cockpit you can see different indicators TC might stand for Traction Control, PW for PowerWindow and EB for Engine Brake. There are also LF and QS. QS usually stands for Quickshifter, so you can expect at least two settings for the Quickshifter.
You can assume that most of the assistance systems also take the motorcycle’s lean angle into account, since the current lean angle is even displayed in the cockpit.
At the front, two large air intakes can be found next to the daytime running lights. Struts have been added to the side fairing to ensure optimum lateral ventilation. Whether this also has aerodynamic advantages or only serves to optimally dissipate engine heat is not yet entirely clear.
Detailed information will be published on Friday at the latest.
