Stark was founded in 2019 as a mobility startup and is based near Barcelona. With the Varg, they have announced an electric motocross motorcycle that will have a very powerful engine. You can put it in the 450cc class in terms of performance.
Customizable power up to 80 PS
The Varg’s engine is said to have a maximum output of 80 PS. The built-in electronic system is supposed to enable customizable power modes, ranging from a 125cc two-stroke to a 650cc four-stroke.
It should be possible to make engine settings very precisely. The engine’s power curve, engine braking, traction control and even a virtual flywheel weight to tune throttle response are said to be customizable.
Lightweight, fast loading
To save weight and increase rigidity, the frame was made from a combination of carbon fiber, magnesium and aluminum. Otherwise, it is for the most part a normal MX bike.
The battery weighs 32 kg, and the Stark Varg is said to weigh only 110 kg in total. With the 6-kWh lithium-ion battery, you’ll get the range of a 450cc motocrosser, according to the manufacturer. Subsequently, the battery should be fully charged within 1-2 hours.
A release will follow “soon.” The price is expected to be around 11,900 euros.
