Kawasaki has already announced a presentation for November 23rd, at which six new models or at least updated models will be presented. Among them will be a new ZX-10R and ZX-10RR.
More power
Now there are first rumors about what is to be presented to us. The ZX-10R for 2021 is not supposed to be a completely new construction, but one can speak of a major update. There should be no changes to the chassis. The engine is said to have been revised and to have more power. 210 HP sound quite realistic here.
Winglets will come
In addition to the increased performance, a reworking of the fairing is considered safe. The Kawasaki ZX-10R 2021 will certainly have improved aerodynamic components. Possible would be winglets, similar to the Ducati V4R, or an aerodynamic double fairing, as used on the Honda CBR1000RR-R or the upcoming Aprilia RS 660.
The assistance systems will be updated and a new display will be installed.
New homologation model is required
The revision of the Kawasaki ZX-10RR is also certain, as the model is used as homologation model for the WorldSBK. This machine is the basis for the racing motorcycle that is allowed to be used in the world championship. Only if winglets were used here, these may be used in the WSBK, the regulations prescribe this.
All other major manufacturers have already changed over here or at least presented the homologation models for the next season.
At the latest on November 23rd, 2020 we will get more details.
