Royal Enfield has unveiled new color variants for the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 for 2023. The models will receive new colors, dubbed “blacked out,” as well as other upgrades for greater comfort and a better riding experience.
New color options for 2023
The two models received new color options for 2023, with the Interceptor 650 getting three classic colors – Mark 2, Sunset Strip and Canyon Red – and two new “blacked out” colors – Black Ray and Barcelona Blue. The Continental GT 650 gets new Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey colors in addition to the existing Mr Clean, Dux Dulux, British Racing Green and Rocker Red.
New upgrades for greater comfort and riding enjoyment
In addition to the new color options, the models also receive new upgrades for greater comfort and driving enjoyment. Both models now feature new switches on the handlebars, as well as an LED headlight and USB charging station. The seat has also been improved to provide more comfort on longer rides.
‘Blacked out’ variant with new features
The “blacked out” variants of the models also get upgrades such as black-painted engine components and exhaust system, as well as black-painted cast aluminum wheels. The models will also be equipped with tubeless tires….
Technical details of the models
The 650 Twins receive no changes to the technical components. Both models are powered by a 648 cc air-oil-cooled inline two-cylinder engine producing 48 hp at 7,150 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 5,150 rpm. The chassis also remains unchanged, with a telescopic fork at the front and a steel profile swingarm with twin shocks at the rear.
