In ADV motorcycles who are fond away from paved roads, ABS can be a hindrance in the field. So far, however, it was not possible on the Himalayan to turn off the ABS, unless one manipulated the fuses.
This problem will now be solved. The Royal Enfield Himalayan gets a switch to shut off the ABS. It might not sound spectacular, but it can be crucial for potential buyers and makes so much easier on the road.
To be seen better in low visibility conditions or to draw attention to a breakdown, the ADV motorcycle gets now also a hazard warning light.
