According to media reports, there is a recall for the 2020 KTM 1290 Super Duke R because the traction control system can fail.
The culprit is said to be an incorrectly routed cable that is in contact with the exhaust system and could be damaged as a result. This could lead to an error message or, in the worst case, even to incorrect intervention of the assistance system during acceleration.
Owners are said to have already been contacted by KTM. However, there is no official notification of the recall so far.
The notification originates from the Italian area. Since motorcycles are usually manufactured in a plant for the global market, other markets could also be affected.
