QJMotor SRK 800: The new naked bike for 2025
In China, the SRK 800 is already listed in the model range for 2025, although no official price has yet been given. In terms of its design and technical data, it appears to be based on established naked bikes such as the Kawasaki Z900 or the Yamaha MT-09.
Four-cylinder engine with 122 hp
The engine of the SRK 800 has a displacement of 778 cm³ and, according to the manufacturer, achieves a peak output of 122 hp (90 kW) at 12,000 rpm. The maximum torque is 74 Nm and is reached at 9,500 rpm. The engine is based on a liquid-cooled design with double overhead camshafts (DOHC) and 16 valves. It complies with the Euro 5+ standard.
The 6-speed gearbox is standard, a quickshifter has not yet been mentioned. For comparison: The 2025 Kawasaki Z900 produces 124 hp (91 kW) and has a quickshifter as standard.
Aluminum chassis and Brembo brakes
The SRK 800 RR was still equipped with a steel frame in 2024, but QJMotor has since opted for aluminum, which is also reflected in the new naked version. The machine has an aluminum rear swingarm with a directly linked central shock absorber and an upside-down telescopic fork. The spring base can be adjusted using a rotary knob.
The brake system comes from Brembo, with two radially bolted four-piston calipers on the front axle. The cast aluminum wheels are fitted with 120/70 ZR 17 tires at the front and 180/55 ZR 17 tires at the rear.
Weight and dimensions
With a full 17.5-liter tank, the SRK 800 weighs 207 kilograms according to the manufacturer. This makes it somewhat heavier than some comparable models, which now remain under the 200 kilogram limit. But it also goes in the other direction, for comparison: the Kawasaki Z900 weighs 213 kg with a 17-liter tank. The wheelbase is 1,450 mm, the seat height is 815 mm.
Additional variants and equipment
As yet, there is little official information on additional equipment. However, it can be assumed that the SRK 800 will be equipped with a modern color display with connectivity function and LED lighting all round. In addition to the standard version, there will also be a version with a classic round headlight in café racer style.
Price and market launch
It is still unclear when exactly the QJMotor SRK 800 will be available in Europe or Germany and at what price. However, it is likely that it will find its way onto the European market. The SRK 800 RR will be available in Italy from September 2024 for 8,800 euros (approx. 9,500 USD). The price of the unclad version could therefore be less than 8,000 euros (approx. 8,600 USD). Should it be launched on the market for 7,900 euros (approx. 8,500 USD), for example, it would be an interesting alternative to the established naked bikes in terms of price.
