Pirelli – tires of the future
In a joint demonstration by Pirelli, Ericsson, Audi, Tim, Italdesign and KTH on the roof of the Lingotto building, the 5G extended ADAS service was presented.

ADAS stands for an extended driver assistance system. Pirelli showed there Cyber tires, which are connected to the 5G network. Among other things, the tires register the road condition and also send information to other vehicles in the vicinity.
From wet to low grip, various information is passed on to adapt assistance systems to the changed conditions.
