In a teaser on social media, Triumph has unveiled a prototype of the Speed Triple 1200 RR.
In the video, the process of creating the prototype is shown. First you see the beginning of a first sketch, then how a clay model is designed and finally the prototype is shown, but only dimly.
The recognizable fairing raises questions. The Speed Triple is traditionally a naked bike. In the video, however, you can see a fairing around the round headlight, even if it is not clear whether it is a full or half fairing. A full fairing would probably be more in line with a new Daytona, which would certainly be enthusiastically received in the motorcycle world.
When the Speed Triple 1200 RR design prototype will be unveiled is still open, a date has not yet been announced. The video only points to a date soon.
