Even before Eicma, MV Agusta introduced its product range for 2020. Among them is the Brutale 1000 RR, which is based on the Brutale Serie Oro, which was presented last year.
The Brutale 1000 RR has the same streetfighter design. The 998 cc four-cylinder engine comes from the F4 and makes 153 kW (208 PS – 205 hp) and a good 116 Nm. Dry it weighs 186 kg which is about 5 pounds more than the Series Oro. This is due to the use of aluminum wheels instead of carbon and steel screws instead of titanium – but it is cheaper.
The maximum speed should be over 300 km/h!? The side winglets should ensure a stable ride and the necessary pressure.
It is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth interface, a lush electronics package (four driving modes), Quickshifter (up&down), electronic suspension from Öhlins and LED lighting all around.
The IMU supports various assistance systems. This includes a tilt-dependent Race ABS from Bosch.
Braking on the front is with Brembo-Stylma calipers and two 320 mm brake discs.
Optionally, there is a racing kit, with the Brutale brings to 212 PS.
The price should be around 30,000 €.
