A tribute to the iconic track and motorsport history
MV Agusta celebrates the legendary race track in the Netherlands, better known as the “Cathedral of Speed”, with the limited Brutale 1000 RR Assen Edition. The company has already produced a handsome number of special editions, and this time it’s the famous racetrack’s turn to serve as the bike’s inspiration.
Of victories and icons
With 35 victories at the Assen Circuit, MV Agusta can boast of being one of the most successful motorcycle manufacturers in the history of this circuit. Legendary names such as John Surtees, Mike Hailwood and above all Giacomo Agostini played an important role. The Brutale 1000 RR Assen is therefore not only a tribute to the course, but also to these racing icons.
Exclusivity and design
Only 300 of this special edition will be produced, and each bike is handmade in Italy. Special materials and colors have been used, including blue Alcantara upholstery and a color palette that combines Blu Nordico, Argento Ago and gold. These colors add exclusivity to the already appealing design of the Brutale 1000 RR.
Technical details that impress
At the heart of the Brutale 1000 RR Assen is a Euro 5-compliant four-cylinder engine with 998 cubic centimeters of displacement. At 13,000 rpm, the engine delivers an impressive 208 hp (205.2 hp, 155.1 kW) and 116.5 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. The dry weight of the motorcycle is 183 kg (403 lbs), which allows for a remarkable power-to-weight ratio of 1.1 hp per kilogram.
Top-class chassis and brakes
The Brutale 1000 RR Assen comes with a high-quality Öhlins suspension and a Brembo braking system. The suspension is electronically controlled and offers various adjustment options, while the braking system consists of front dual discs with a diameter of 320 mm and a rear single disc with 220 mm.
Price and availability
Although the exact price is not yet known, the amount due for the special edition is likely to be significantly higher than the 36,000 euros for the base model. Estimates are that the special edition will easily exceed the 40,000 euro mark.

With the 2024 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Assen, you not only get a technically sophisticated motorcycle, but also a piece of motorsport history. As a special bonus, all 300 units come with a box full of goodies, including a racing kit that boosts power to 212 PS (209.2 hp, 158 kW) at 13,600 rpm.
