As Honda now announced, the doctors gave the green light for the first training sessions on the motorcycle, the progress of bone consolidation is described as satisfactory.
The doctors give their OK for a more intensive program to restore strength and mobility, including on the motorcycle. This brings the comeback of the multiple world champion a good deal closer.
Slow increase
Marc Marquez also wants to increase his training slowly now, but not jump right back on a MotoGP rocket. He wants to start his training on smaller bikes first and then move up to larger ones.
Whether he will already start at the first race in Qatar in about two weeks remains open. Honda has already put him on the list of participants, but can still swap him for substitute rider Stefan Bradl until the first practice session of the race weekend.
