After the quarter liter sportbike was shown for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2019, one wait for the data of the little Kawasaki. Now it has been officially presented and the dates have been announced.
The 249cc inline four-cylinder engine delivers 50 hp at 15,500 rpm, with Ram-Air it is 51 hp. At 14,500 rpm there is a torque of 30 Nm. The red area starts at 17,500 rpm. The weight of the Kawasaki ZX-25R is 181 kg.
It is also equipped with a 37mm Showa Upside-Down fork, a 310mm brake disc with a four-piston caliper at the front and a 220mm disc with a single-piston brake caliper at the rear. LED technology is used for the lighting. The speedometer is digital, but also equipped with an analog tachometer.
There will be two trim levels, Standard and Special Edition. Both have a two-channel ABS in common. The ZX-25R SE also gets various driving modes, traction control and a quick shifter.
The model is only sold on the Asian market and in New Zealand on pre-order.
