The Kawasaki Z models have been around for almost fifty years and in 2020 it will launch the first supercharged Z. It’s the most radical, technically advanced and powerful Z ever – the Z H2.
Kawasaki Z H2 presented
It is powered by a 998 cc four-cylinder in-line engine, which is charged with a supercharger. A maximum of 200 PS are available, with good controllable power.
It is equipped with a color TFT display, a Quickshifter including blipper function (for clutchless shifting up and down), cruise control, Showa BPF fork and LED lighting all around.
The Z H2 also comes with a tubular frame, which can be selected in three colors. The frame was developed especially for the Z H2. Braking is done with Brembo M4 calipers.
The balance between performance and durability was very important to the engineers.
“The Dog-Ring transmission from the racetrack, the easy-to-use assist and slip clutch, and the clever use of oil for cooling and the potential elimination of an intercooler are further features that allow Kawasaki engineers to combine reliability and driveability.”
The traction control, the intelligent ABS (KIBS), the curve management function (KCMF), the selectable driving modes and the anti-wheelie control are controlled by a Bosch IMU. Through the Rideology App one can make various settings and transmit via Bluetooth to the Z H2.
