Indian has registered the “EFTR” designation with patent authorities in Europe, Australia and the USA. Indian’s first electric motorcycle is said to be behind the name.
The presumption is based on the model name, whereby E should stand for electric drive. FTR stands for the well-known Indian Flat Track series.
There is no further information about the Indian electric motorcycle yet.
