High Voltage Racing GmbH, based in Weisendorf near Nuremberg / Germany, develops off-road motorcycles for the next generation. The possible top speed of the electric motorcycles can easily be adjusted via app, depending on the riding skills of the child.

The bike grows with

The HVR model family has only recently had a new generation. In addition to the 50.4 and 60.4, the 50.4 MINI and the 50.4 PRO are now also available. The 50.4 MINI in particular makes it easy for children to enter off-road sport. The drive is identical to that of the standard 50.4 and has an output of 8 kW. This allows a maximum speed of 70 km/h. However, an app allows you to reduce the maximum speed to 6 km/h.

The 50.4 MINI is equipped with a shorter shock absorber. The seat height is 580 mm. Since the MINI and the standard model have the same base, the bike can easily be converted to the 12 inch front wheel and the standard shock absorber later. This increases the seat height to 630 mm.

HVR 50.4 Pro

The HVR 50.4 PRO is an upgraded version of the standard 50.4, which stands out for its longer CNC-machined aluminium swingarm and fully adjustable chassis. The seat height is 680 mm, but can be raised to 705 mm with a heightening kit.

The upside-down fork has a standpipe diameter of 37 mm. The linkage point of the shock to the swingarm can be mounted in two positions, allowing the rear suspension to be adjusted even further.

If you already own a standard version, you can always retrofit the swingarm and suspension of the PRO.

New software features

The battery software has got a new charging routine. In addition the battery cooling has been improved by a larger cooling surface. With the HVR Connect App, the maximum power and speed can be adjusted at any time. The software is also undergoing continuous development.

Older HVR models also benefit from a new function. With the “Sleeping Beauty Mode” you can completely shut down a stolen HVR so that thieves can no longer use it. Should the bike find its way back to its owner, the bike can also be woken up again.
