Despite camouflage stickers one can already see a few details. The new aluminum frame is very similar to the current frame. But a few changes can be seen, such as a mounting hole on the left side.
From the adjustable winglets, which are known from a Honda patent application, on can see nothing. However, there are already aerodynamic fairing openings or framed winglets.
The swingarm has been modified and looks similar to that of the WorldSBK. The damping is taken over by Showa elements. Somewhat irritating are the Brembo GP Series calipers, which cost around $ 3,000 apiece. That could indicate that it may have already been partially tested for the WorldSBK? Certainly the brakes will not make it to the series, at least not in the standard version.
As expected, a new engine is used. Honda wants a more powerful engine for the WorldSBK to be competitive again. In the accompanying video one can hear that it is a series four-cylinder. Those who were already looking forward to a V4 will unfortunately be disappointed.
Engine covers and shift linkages have also been modified.
