Inspired by classic muscle cars: the Fast Johnnie paint design
Harley-Davidson pays tribute to classic muscle cars with the Fast Johnnie paint design offered in Europe for the exclusive Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection. The 2023 Fast Johnnie paint scheme in Celestial Blue and white Race Stripes is available on the Low Rider ST, Street Glide ST and Road Glide ST models, with total production limited to 2,000 units.
Fast Johnnie pays homage to the eye-catching paint design of 1960s and 1970s muscle cars that set high-performance versions apart from standard versions. The Fast Johnnie symbol is also found on Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle factory team motorcycles competing in the MotoAmerica King of the Baggers racing series. The symbol traces back to a piglet named Johnnie that became the team mascot for the H-D factory racing team in 1920. The nickname “Hog” was applied to Harley-Davidson motorcycles over time.
Fast Johnnie: A color combination reminiscent of the muscle car era.
“Race stripes inspired the generation that grew up in that era, and they still have an intriguing effect today,” explains Brad Richards, Harley-Davidson vice president of design and creative director. “The base color chosen for Fast Johnnie, Celestial Blue, is reminiscent of a popular paint from the muscle car era. For the stripes, we chose a white hue that also fits perfectly with that era and was executed alternating thin, wide and thin again on the sides and top of the machine – classic American.”
The Harley-Davidson lettering replaces one of the thin stripes on the tank and front fender. Depending on the model, the stripes were applied to the front and rear fenders, the top and sides of the tank, the front of the fairing, and the side covers and cases. The Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection logo can be found on the rear fender.
Low Rider ST Fast Johnnie Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection
The Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST is an American V2 sport tourer that combines clean and sleek West Coast style with the power of the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-twin. Technically, the bike is identical to the 2023 model year Low Rider ST.

Street Glide ST Fast Johnnie Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection
The Street Glide ST Fast Johnnie combines the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine and sonorous Screamin’ Eagle exhaust with West Coast style and a stylish dark bronze finish. Its comfort and classic Batwing fairing appeal to tradition-minded riders. Technically, the bike is the same as the 2023 production Street Glide ST model, except for the exhaust.
Road Glide ST Fast Johnnie Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection
The look of the U.S. West Coast and dark bronze finishes define this performance bagger. The high level of comfort and frame-hugging Sharknose fairing will impress riders who like to ride dynamically. Except for the exhaust – a bassy Screamin’ Eagle Exhaust – the bike is technically the same as the 2023 production Road Glide ST.
