The small motorized flat track motorcycle with road approval is quite popular with European and American riders. As FB Mondial announced, an updated 2020 model will be launched in the fall.
The large number plates on the front and side are typical of flat track bikes. The headlights were discreetly mounted under the front number plate, so that one can hardly see them when deactivated.
The look is also true to the wide handlebars and 19-inch spoke wheels.
In the updated model, the engine and exhaust have been revised to make the motorcycle Euro5-compliant. This should provide a little more power in the lower to medium speed range.
The driving position, the TFT display and the license plate holder have also been slightly adjusted.
The sports motorcycle is powered by a DOHC 124cc engine. A six-speed gearbox transfers the engine power to the rear wheel. The engine produces just under 15 HP on the crankshaft.
ABS is installed as standard. A four-piston radial brake caliper and a 280 mm brake disc decelerate at the front. A single-piston caliper and a 240 mm disc are used at the rear.
The front is dampened with a 40mm USD fork. It offers 90 mm of travel. The rear mono shock damper offers 120 mm.
The update was supposed to be launched in the spring, but was postponed to September due to the Corona crisis. A price of 4,290 euros is given for Italy.
