The 24-year-old Leon Langstädtler has succumbed to his injuries after a tragic accident during the training of the IDM in Hockenheim.
The accident occurred on Friday, September 23, 2022, during the second free practice session for the final round of the IDM Superbike. The practice session was stopped with a red flag and the injured BMW rider was treated while still on the track. Unfortunately, nothing more could be done for him, he succumbed to his injuries on the track.
Leon Langstädtler drove for the F73 Academy Team of “Fifty” Christof Höfer, in addition he was also active as an instructor at race trainings.
