MotoGP – Japan Grand Prix

The Motegi double-ring racetrack in Japan is located in the beautiful nature of the North Kanto district. The circuit consists of a 2.4 kilometer oval and a four kilometer road course designed according to the international standards. Honda designed the track in August 1997 as the ultimate test track. In 2000, the track became home to MotoGP, while the oval track was designed to bring American racing culture to the country.
The Motegi dual track is a year-round attraction for fans, as it is also the site of the Honda Collection Hall, a museum that displays a famous collection of motorcycles, cars and racing machines from various eras. The complex likewise includes a safety and racing school, dirt track, go karts, hotel, restaurant, stores and event halls. At present, about 300 people are employed there.
