Important venues and attractions
Piazza Garibaldi, the neoclassical building Foro Annonario and the Rocca Roveresca gardens were the main venues for the event. Here, visitors were able to visit the H.O.G. Hangout Zone and the Harley-Davidson Expo, where the latest models for 2024 were presented. These included the Street Glide and Road Glide equipped with the Milwaukee-Eight 117. Over 270 fans took the opportunity for a free test ride and off-road enthusiasts got their money’s worth on exclusive adventures with the Di Traverso Adventouring Team led by Marco Belli. The off-road tours led along the picturesque Strade Bianche of the Marche region and demonstrated the versatility of the H-D Pan America 1250.
Custom bike show and parade
On Friday, the custom bike show supported by Metzeler attracted numerous visitors who were able to marvel at extraordinary motorcycle creations from all over Europe. Mirko Perugini from Italy was crowned the overall winner, while Diane Halhead from the UK received the Metzeler People’s Choice Award.
The parade on Saturday was another highlight of the rally. Led by H-D VIPs such as Jochen Zeitz, the CEO of Harley-Davidson, and Karen Davidson, the great-granddaughter of one of the company’s founders, over 3,000 riders took part in the 33-kilometer ride. Thousands of spectators lined the route and celebrated the bikers.
Musical supporting program
Music lovers also got their money’s worth. Hosted by Italian Virgin Radio DJ Ringo, bands such as The Picturebooks from Germany, Eric Steckel from the USA, The Rainband from the UK and Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg, also from the USA, performed. The musical diversity was complemented by performances by HeaveniX (Slovenia), Timothy and the Gang (Italy) and Giuseppe Scarpato (Italy).
Review and outlook
Kolja Rebstock, Vice President and Managing Director EMEA at the Harley-Davidson Motor Company, was impressed by the response: “The enthusiasm of the fans for the 30th European H.O.G. Rally in Senigallia was overwhelming. The participants came from all over the world, from Brazil to New Zealand. This shows the strong community spirit of the Harley Owners Group and the international strength of the Harley-Davidson brand.”
Rebstock also thanked the municipality of Senigallia, the Marche region and all partners and sponsors. The location of the 2025 rally will be announced shortly. One of the upcoming events is the Harley-Davidson Euro Festival, which will take place from May 8 to 11, 2025 in Port Grimaud, France. This major event, which last took place six years ago, promises an extensive entertainment program with top international bands.
Further Harley-Davidson events in 2024
Exciting Harley-Davidson events are also planned for the rest of the year. These include the Hamburg Harley Days, the Swiss Harley Days in Lugano, the Harley Days Dresden, the Harley-Davidson Charity Tour through Austria and the European Bike Week, which will take place from September 3 to 8 in Faak am See, Austria.
