The Scrambler 800 Icon, the Nightshift and the Full Throttle are getting an update for 2023. In addition to new colors, the electronics have also been upgraded.
Engine
The air-cooled V2 engine has been revised and lightened by 2.5 kg. In terms of power, however, it remains at 73 hp at 8,250 rpm (an A2 variant is also offered). However, the maximum torque of 65 Nm is now only available at 7,000 rpm instead of 5,750 rpm. It has been transplanted into a redesigned trellis frame, which should save some weight. Ducati has saved a total of four kilograms (now 185 kg fully fueled). The swingarm has also been changed and the rear frame is now bolted.
Used in the new series is an eight-plate clutch, which requires less manual force, builds up smaller and should be more precise. Optionally there is now also an up/down quickshifter.
Electronics
New is the ride-by-wire, which allows different driving modes. “Road” and “Wet” are available here. A traction control system has now also been installed, while the cornering ABS remains. The settings can be controlled via the new 4.3-inch TFT display. A multimedia system is offered as an option, with which you can pair your smartphone and thus manage music and calls via the display.
Ducati Scrambler 800 Icon
The Ducati Scrambler 800 Icon has lower handlebars and is offered in yellow, black and red. In addition to an even larger range of optional accessories, there are also interchangeable covers that allow the Scrambler 800 to be styled in an additional six color options.
Ducati Scrambler 800 Nightshift
The classy Nightshift gets a dark blue color scheme. It features wide flat handlebars, bar-end mirrors, wire-spoke wheels and modified seat.
Ducati Scrambler 800 Full Throttle
Inspired by American flat-track racing, the Full Throttle comes in red and black and is fitted with a Termignoni exhaust, engine guard and standard quickshifter.
