An upcoming Multistrada with a V4 has already been announced. Except for a few spy photos one has not seen much of the adventure bike yet. This will probably change on October 15th, because Ducati announces a presentation for this date.
V4 for road and offroad
In the social media Ducati has posted a picture showing four pistons. It was written “4 are lighter than 2”, the date 15th October and paradigm shift.
Another picture on Ducati’s homepage shows a collage of four pictures showing the pistons, a road and a dried-out bottom.
Above it is the text:” A new V4 engine, a technological cornerstone based on four theorems that extend and improve the state of the art. A new paradigm that raises the sportiness written in our DNA to new horizons of versatility and reliability. Keep up to date on this page and discover the four theories every week.”
New info every week
The individual pictures are provided with data, at which a further small info to the coming motorcycle is revealed. At the first picture it is written: “By adapting the V4 to a smaller bore, the goal of a weight reduction of 1.2 kg compared to the previous V2 generation is achieved”.
On October the 01st there will be the next hint, then on October 08th and 13th, before the new model will be presented on the 15th.
Presentation of the Multistrada V4 on 10/15/202020
It can be assumed that the Multistrada V4 will be presented on this day. This would be the only V4 machine that is known to be in development. Claudio Domenicali (CEO of Ducati) himself had already confirmed the work on a Multistrada in 2019. The hint of road and off-road would also fit.
