Due to the raging spread of the Corona virus in Italy, Ducati and Piaggio have temporarily closed their museums. Factory tours are also not currently offered.
The following text appears on Ducati’s Italian website:
“We inform you that, according to instructions from the President of the Emilia Romagna Region and the Ministry of Health, all visits to the museum, factory and laboratory for motorcycles will be suspended from February 24, 2020 through March 31, 2020.
We apologize for the inconvenience.”
So far, the message can only be found on the Italian side.
In her statement, Piaggio does not name a date for a planned reopening. They also want to minimize the number of in-house meetings and avoid conference calls.
