For the 2025 model year, TRIUMPH Motorcycles is introducing the “Icon Editions” as an exclusive design line in its Modern Classics series.  These special editions of six different models are characterized by the traditional TRIUMPH logo from 1907, which can be seen on official models of the manufacturer for the first time in over a century.  The selection includes timeless motorcycles that combine TRIUMPH’s rich history and modern design.

The return of the historic 1907 logo

For the Icon Editions, TRIUMPH is reviving the distinctive 1907 Heritage logo in gold lettering, which transforms all six bikes into a tribute to the brand’s history.  Each model in this limited series is designed in a special color combination of Sapphire Black and Aluminum Silver, complemented by hand-painted decorative lines and fine details that underline the design.  The look is based on custom bike designs and captures the style of the originals.  From the classic Bonneville T120 to the powerful Scrambler 1200 XE – each model brings its own interpretation of the TRIUMPH aesthetic.

Statement from Paul Stroud on the combination of tradition and modern technology

Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer of TRIUMPH Motorcycles, explains the philosophy behind the new Icon Editions:

“TRIUMPH Modern Classics have made a lasting name for themselves thanks to their unique style, high quality, best workmanship and modern performance.  This authenticity, coupled with the heritage and passion embodied by the 1907 logo, resonates with both younger and older riders.  With striking new liveries, bespoke motifs and individual logos, the Icon editions perfectly combine tradition, style and contemporary performance.  This makes them perfect for riders who appreciate classic style but value modern performance.”

The six models at a glance

Each model of the Icon Editions 2025 impresses with an individual color concept and design elements that focus on the TRIUMPH logo from 1907.

Bonneville T120 Icon Edition

The Bonneville T120 Icon Edition combines a deep sapphire black tank with silver accents and hand-painted gold details.  The model is equipped with a 41 mm cartridge fork, adjustable rear suspension struts and a brake system with Brembo brake callipers and ABS.  The 1200 cc twin-cylinder engine is optimized for high torque and delivers 80 hp (59 kW) at 6,550 rpm and 105 Nm at 3,500 rpm.

Scrambler 900 Icon Edition

The Scrambler 900 Icon Edition expresses its “Adventure Spirit” in the Sapphire Black and Aluminum Silver paint finish.  Equipped with a high-torque 900 cc engine, the Scrambler 900 offers 65 hp (48 kW) and 80 Nm.  With a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel as well as a low seat height of 790 mm, the model remains agile and easy to handle.  It is also available for the A2 driving license category.

Scrambler 1200 X Icon Edition

The Scrambler 1200 X Icon Edition combines the heritage design with modern features and a seat height of 820 mm, which can optionally be reduced to 795 mm.  The powerful 1200 cc twin delivers 90 hp (66 kW) and a high torque of 110 Nm.  The 1200 X is specially optimized for off-road use and has a 21-inch front wheel.

Scrambler 1200 XE Icon Edition

The Scrambler 1200 XE model emphasizes its robust character with the colors Phantom Black and Aluminium Silver.  A powerful 1200 cc engine and specific off-road features, such as ride-by-wire technology and cornering ABS, support the off-road capabilities of the XE variant.  Complemented by Marzocchi suspension and Brembo Stylema brake callipers, the Scrambler 1200 XE is suitable for demanding terrain.

Bonneville Bobber Icon Edition

The Bonneville Bobber Icon Edition presents itself with minimalist and striking lines.  The Heritage logo in gold on the tank as well as the 16-inch front wheel and the massive 47 mm front fork make the model a real eye-catcher.  The 1200 cc engine delivers 77 hp (57 kW) and a powerful torque of 106 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

Bonneville Speedmaster Icon Edition

The Bonneville Speedmaster Icon Edition is a cruiser with British custom style and an elegant paint finish in Sapphire Black and aluminum silver.  With its 1200 cc twin, it offers powerful traction and high torque for a relaxed riding experience.  A high-quality Showa cartridge fork and a monoshock suspension strut with adjustable preload ensure optimum maneuverability and comfort.

Availability and price

The new Icon Edition models will be available from December 2024 in Germany and Austria from authorized TRIUMPH dealers.  The surcharge compared to the standard models in Germany and Austria is 600 euros (approx. 636 USD) for the Scrambler 900 and 800 euros (approx. 848 USD) for all other models.  All Icon Edition models are covered by the full manufacturer’s warranty for four years with no mileage limit, with maintenance intervals of 16,000 km.
