The fourth qualifying session of the Isle of Man TT 2025 provided thrilling action despite changeable conditions.  After the morning fog had cleared, the riders took advantage of the dry but windy weather to make final adjustments to their machines - with clear exclamation marks in the Superstock and Superbike classes.

Bright sunshine also accompanied the riders on Friday on the Isle of Man as they lined up for the second qualifying session of the Tourist Trophy 2025.  The focus was not only on spectacular lap times, but also on new best performances in several classes. First and foremost: Dean Harrison, who set the fastest time of the day on his Honda Racing Superstock machine with an average speed of 132.853 mph (approx. 213.8 km/h) - only just under his record from Wednesday.

The Tourist Trophy 2025 kicked off its first qualifying session in perfect conditions.  The focus was particularly on Honda rider Dean Harrison, who dominated the Superbike category with a record lap of 133.069 mph (214.219 km/h) - the fastest lap ever set on an opening evening of TT qualifying.

After weather-related delays, free practice for the Isle of Man TT 2025 finally got underway on Tuesday evening.  In drying conditions and sunny spells, the field completed their first, still untimed practice laps on the 60.72 km (37¾ mile) Mountain Course.  Despite the remaining damp sections of the track - including Braddan, Laurel Bank, Glen Helen, the 11th Milestone, Glentramman and Keppel Gate - the planned program could be implemented almost in full.

The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy is known for its thrilling history, its dangerous bends and its legendary riders. One of them has now finally set himself a monument: Michael Dunlop, the most successful rider in the history of the TT, now has his own corner on the notorious Mountain Course.

The Isle of Man TT 2025 has officially started - but the opening round on Monday, May 26, was much quieter than planned.  Due to adverse weather conditions, only the planned introductory laps for the newcomers could take place.  The actual qualifying session had to be canceled at short notice.

The Supertwin category of the Isle of Man TT is set for an exciting season.  Although Michael Dunlop has dominated the class in the recent past with five wins from the last seven races, the category is increasingly developing into an open battle - particularly between Dunlop, Peter Hickman and the up-and-coming Davey Todd.

What initially sounds like the plot of an action movie is reality: Keanu Reeves and his motorcycle brand Arch Motorcycle have founded their own racing team.  With the new Arch Racing Team, the company is entering the US MotoAmerica series - specifically the popular Super Hooligan class.  But that's not all: the next big step is already being planned - a start in the legendary Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man in 2026.

A fresh team, new colors and two of the most prominent names in road racing today - 8TEN Racing will be competing in the Tourist Trophy (TT) for the first time in 2025.  Peter Hickman and Davey Todd are not only two of the fastest riders on the scene, but also the two co-owners of the team.  Following the withdrawal of FHO Racing from road racing, the two Brits quickly founded a team themselves and managed to put together a competitive setup within just a few months.

The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy - TT for short - is one of the most legendary road races in the world.  Since 1995, countless memorable races have been held on the infamous Mountain Course.  Now these moments are available in full length free of charge on the TT+ platform.  With “TT Rewind”, fans can access over 100 hours of video material and more than 200 races from 30 years of TT history - without a subscription.

Michael Dunlop will once again be part of Carl Cox Motorsport's extensive rider line-up in 2025.  The Northern Irishman, who is already the most successful rider on the Isle of Man's famous Mountain Course, is aiming for his 30th TT victory.  In addition to racing with his own MD Racing Team, he will again be supported by Carl Cox Motorsport.

Team MLav Racing is making its debut at both the North West 200 and the legendary Isle of Man TT this year.  With one experienced and one up-and-coming rider, the team is banking on an exciting combination: Ian Hutchinson, 16-time TT winner, and Mike Browne, a promising talent, have been confirmed as riders.

New Zealand racing driver Mitch Rees will compete in the legendary Tourist Trophy (TT) on the Isle of Man for the first time in 2025.  The multiple Superbike and Formula One Superbike champion will line up for the renowned Milenco by Padgetts Honda Team and will compete in several races on a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade - including the RST x D3O Superbike TT, the Milwaukee Senior TT and the RL360/Opul Superstock TT.

With “Ride or Die”, the BBC is bringing a new documentary to the screen that delves deep into the emotional and spiritual world of road racing.  It focuses on three very different personalities: five-time North West 200 winner Lee Johnston, experienced racer Maria Costello MBE and newcomer Kevin Keyes.  The DoubleBand Films production was initially broadcast on BBC One Northern Ireland on April 9, 2024, but was also shown nationwide in the UK from April 10 - also available on BBC iPlayer.

Honda is ushering in a new era with a structural realignment in motorsport.  The Japanese manufacturer officially confirms the establishment of a new motorcycle racing division and provides initial details as well as its sporting plans for the 2025 season. The focus is particularly on participation in the British Superbike Championship (BSB) and the traditional Tourist Trophy (TT) on the Isle of Man.

Michael Rutter, seven-time winner of the Isle of Man TT, has confirmed that he will be taking part in the Tourist Trophy again in 2025 - but in a significantly reduced form.  The 52-year-old Briton will compete exclusively in the Supertwin class, riding a Yamaha R7.  As Team Principal of the Bathams Racing Team, Rutter wants to focus more on organizing and supporting his riders in future instead of competing in several classes himself.

The Bathams AJN Racing Team is once again relying on a proven rider pairing in 2025: Team Manager Michael Rutter and Craig Neve will be racing together for the third year in a row.  However, while Rutter is making a fundamental change to his racing program, Neve is sticking to the tried-and-tested line.

The Isle of Man TT 2025 will bring an important change for Julian Trummer: the Austrian will line up for the newly founded Lion Heart Racing team this year.  It will also be the Northern Irish team's first participation in the legendary road race on the Isle of Man.

Back in November, Peter Hickman and Davey Todd were introduced as the new riders of the FHO Racing BMW Team.  Now, just a few weeks later, everything is different: the two TT winners are going their separate ways and will be competing for the newly founded Team 8TEN Racing.

The Roadhouse Macau racing team will once again be competing in the Isle of Man TT Races this year with a strong two-man line-up.  Team boss and regular rider Brian McCormack will be joined by reigning IRRC Superbike champion David Datzer.
