New engine concepts: boxer twin, inline six-cylinder, and V4
According to initial teasers, Benda plans to present a concept with a hybrid boxer engine at EICMA. This is a 250 cm³ horizontally opposed two-cylinder engine combined with a hybrid drive. No further technical details are known at this time. However, reports from China speak of an A2-friendly output of around 35 hp (25.7 kW), with maximum torque significantly above the usual level for this class thanks to hybrid technology. Official torque figures have not yet been published.
According to media reports, the announced inline six-cylinder is likely to be a 1,700 cc engine. The bore diameter is said to correspond to that of the BMW K1600 engine, while the stroke is 1.5 mm longer. This results in a slightly higher displacement than its German counterpart. The type of motorcycle for which this engine is intended has not been confirmed. However, based on the engine configuration, it can be assumed that the inline six-cylinder will be used in a premium tourer.
The already familiar V4 engine, currently offered in the Dark Flag 500 and Dark Flag 500 Commander models, is also part of the product offensive. According to the manufacturer, both cruiser models have an output of 47 hp (34.6 kW). No information on maximum torque is available. It is conceivable that a version of these engines adapted for Europe will be presented.
Other new features: electronic clutch, air suspension, and CVT transmission
In addition to the new engine concepts, Benda plans to introduce further technical innovations. These include an electronic clutch, as known from Honda (E-Clutch) and Yamaha (Y-AMT). This system is expected to be used in the Graystone 707 model.
A variant with air suspension could point to the LFC700 Pro. The Pro version of this model is already available in some markets and is now set to come to Europe. A version with CVT transmission (continuously variable automatic transmission) is also planned. This is likely to be the Chinchilla 350 CVT NEO, a modern-designed cruiser with automatic transmission.
Conclusion: Major model offensive for Europe
With the announcement of twelve new motorcycles and seven off-road vehicles for EICMA 2025, Benda is clearly signaling its intention to further expand its presence in the European market. The focus is on innovative engine concepts and modern technical equipment designed to attract attention in various segments. Official technical data and details are expected to be announced at the trade fair.
