The joint project AMB 001, of the motorcycle manufacturer Brough Superior and the luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin,  is approaching series production and has now been tested on the racetrack.

However, readiness for series production should not be misunderstood here, since it is a strictly limited model. Only 100 copies of the AMB 001 are produced.

The sports motorcycle is powered by a 997cc V2 at 88 degrees. A turbocharger with variable blade geometry brings the engine to a peak output of around 180 hp. A full torque should also be achieved, however no precise details have yet been given on the performance data.

The driving force of the engine is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox and a toothed belt. The manifold consists of the material Inconel which is also used in Formula 1 and is therefore the ultimate in terms of weight.

The aluminum bridge frame was milled from solid. The rear section and the complete fairing are made of carbon. At the front, the aluminum Fior fork is damped by a central shock.

The price is said to be € 108,000, delivery is planned for autumn 2020.
