The 10-piece limited edition motorcycle for the racetrack is currently being delivered to the new owners. The price was 40,000 euros.

Aprilia RSV4 X delivered

The bike was slimmed down by 26 pounds compared to the production version and now weighs only 165 kg (364 lbs). Carbon was used for the fairing and the tank is lighter. You could also save weight thanks to the Akrapovic titanium exhaust system.

The 1,078 cc V4 engine in the RSV4 X produces 165 kW or 222 hp (225 PS). To achieve the extra power, other camshafts, new valve return springs and other bucket tappets were installed.

Also, the gearbox has been revised. The neutral is no longer between the first and the second, but below the first gear. Aprilia calls this Aprilia No Neutral (ANN). It is designed to speed up shifting and avoid landing “between gears”.

For the first time on a “series bike” Brembo GP4-MS calipers were used. The T-Drive brake discs and a 19×16 master cylinder are also from Brembo.

The first to receive a RSV4 X was Max Biaggi: “Tackling the corners at Mugello astride the RSV4 X is always a fantastic thrill. On this bike, the sensations are exactly like those of a racing bike and, as soon as I got on it, I felt like I had never quit racing.”

Another machine goes to Andrea Iannone.
