At the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials 2026, Canadian rider Liane Langlois reached 235.526 km/h (146.349 mph) with her sidecar outfit based on a Triumph Rocket III Roadster. That is around 16 km/h more than her record from the previous year, and the reason lies mainly in a change to the bodywork.

The Spanish heritage brand Bultaco is building motorcycles again, and the first new model is called the Rally GT 300 and costs 3,999 euros. The lightweight enduro is not built in Catalonia, however, but in China, and it is based on a machine that has been available there for some time.

An independent test programme from Australia has been assessing motorcycle clothing for eight years and has reached an uncomfortable conclusion. The protection offered by jackets and trousers with European certification is falling year after year, even though every item tested still meets the standard.
