Even before the official presentation of the Aprilia RS 660 all data and information has been leaked. Also a completely new color was unveiled.

The eagerly awaited Superbike in the middle capacity class was shown for the first time at the EICMA 2018. In addition to the model, the in-line two-cylinder engine was also shown, which in principle is a halved 1100cc V4, derived from the V4R. The motorcycle should come on the market with a variety of high quality components and assistance systems, more was not revealed at that time.
The final data of the Aprilia RS 660
The 660cc in-line two-cylinder engine of the Aprilia RS 660 delivers 100 hp at 10500 rpm and a torque of 67 Nm at 8500 rpm. The dry weight is specified as 169 kg. With these performance data, the output power would be too high to be throttled down in accordance with A2 driver’s license regulations. However, an A2 version is also planned, which will then have a maximum output of 70 kW or 95 hp.
Further equipment of the Aprilia RS 660
The RS 660 gets a triple LED headlight, which is equipped with daytime running light and is stylishly framed by it. On the side, a double fairing has been installed which diverts the air to create more contact pressure at the front.
Ride-by-Wire, traction control, anti-wheelie control, cruise control and five driving modes, three of which are intended for the road and two for the track, were confirmed. Two modes are individually configurable.
Braking is done with Brembo components and steel braided lines ex works. The Kayaba suspension components are fully adjustable
The Aprilia RS 660 will be available in the colors Acid Gold, Lava Red and Apex Black.
Based on the RS 660, a Tuono 660 and a Tuareg 660 will also follow.
